What this is. An independent early-warning monitor for
mass wallet compromises on Bitcoin. A compromise shows up on-chain as
long-dormant UTXOs suddenly being spent, the signature of the July 2026
theft of bitcoin from Coldcard-generated private keys. These events are
thefts: property taken from owners without their consent. The monitor
watches the UTXO set for that pattern:
coordinated sweeps, unusual consolidation, dormant UTXOs on the move.
A UTXO counts as dormant once it has sat unspent for
2 years, with the strongest weight on UTXOs idle
past 5. Dormant UTXOs are spent every day. This page answers one question:
